The CladdaghThe warm air and clear blue sky infused the day with promise, but it was easier to spend it lazily. Sitting on the grassy hill overlooking the river; the patchwork of garden, field and farmhouse; and beyond that the hazy skyline of the village, they breathed in the fresh air laced with the scent of summer blooms and straw.
